Almost forgotten.

The Christmas season has officially kicked into gear for the Lamberts. We've bought presents for all 13 nieces and nephews, and the girls and I have watched our first Christmas movie. I'm still thinking about our card concept, but I have started working on the annual photobooks for us and our parents. Each year I go through all the photos I've taken and pull a few hundred to make into a bound book. I love having a record of our year and the grandparents love it too. It's my favorite thing to make every year.

So Sunday night, as I was going through the images, I found the two above on my laptop. I had taken them during a trip to Maryland this summer when I coaxed the girls out into the wheat fields surrounding my dad's farm. I had never edited them, probably because they stayed on the laptop. And I can't believe I almost lost track of them. I edited them in a different way than usual, which is fun to do with my personal images. I can't believe I nearly missed them. But they'll make it into the book this year.

I love these both! The second one is my favorite though.
