They play like girls.

I was happy to capture this photo last week when we went to see the University of Memphis Lady Tigers play soccer. It was their last regular season home game and since then they have clinched their division championship and will be in the playoffs Nov. 2, right here in Memphis.

After watching the Ladies make some hard-hitting contact with the other team (holy cow! These girls are rough!), Margret's soccer team was invited on the field to get autographs. And as tough as they were in play, they were that much nicer in person. The players kept thanking us for coming and they signed whatever the girls brought, including a few who picked up the men's poster instead of the women's. I snagged Elise Kuhar-Pitters, the totally awesome goalie, and asked her to pose with Margret Lambert, another totally awesome goalie who managed to stop a penalty kick the day before (Elise missed hers, but they still won.).

I'm so glad my girls get to see such fabulous role models. Go Tigers Go!
