Shimelle's class.

First, Shimelle is a goddess. She's a super-creative teacher, scrapbooker and cupcake-maker who lives in the UK and has a great site with online classes. I've often wanted to take one of her classes, but never seem to have the time or cash when the opportunity arises. As a New Year's gift to the world, Shimelle is offering a free class (scroll down on her blog and you'll see the details). How could I not do this?

The album is called "I have to confess" and details little confessions and quirks. Mine is pretty light-hearted and I made it over the course of three days. Day one: I uploaded the photos to Costco and picked up; cut down my cardstock and adhered the photos and picked the cover transparency. Day two: put the rub-on letters and bling on the cover; picked a bunch of pink-ish papers and adhered torn strips; stamped journaling lines in red; stamped scroll in pink paint and let dry; stamped words on photo pages. Day three: wrote journaling and added words in pen on the photo pages (and I had to let each page dry before I could move on); punched and added two jump rings. Done.

One could do this album faster with fewer pages and less stamping. But it was no big deal to work on it for a few minutes, then put it aside as I worked on other stuff. Here are some of the inside pages. I'll post the whole album on TwoPeas tomorrow and link it here.

Edited: you can see the full book here.
